1. What’s It About
This Technology of the Control and Protection of Swine Diseases & Feed Mills Sustainable development Workshop is being offered on August 3rd-4th, 2007, in
Guangzhou, by National Feed Engineering Technology Research Center (NFERC) and Office of Guangzhou Feed Industry.
Nowadays, the entire feed industry falls into downturn due to the present occurrence of severe swine diseases. The increasingly competitive feed industry necessitates that all feed manufactories understand and apply effective methods to prevent and control swine diseases and strategies to facilitate corporate profitability.
2. Aim of the workshop
The goal of the workshop is to equip personnel from sectors of the feed industry, e.g. feed manufactories and pig farms with skills that will enable them to prevent and control swine diseases and to manage costs and improve profitability and product quality.
This workshop will cover:
• The current situation and technology of prevention and control of Swine diseases, e.g. PRRS etc.
• Strategies to improve production performance in tropical climate.
• Improve entrepreneurial creativity.
• Improve the value of the enterprise and creative profit mode.
The workshops include lectures and in-class problem sets to help participants learn the skills.
